GoConvergence created multiple audio-visual experiences throughout the Inside CNN project at the new Time Warner Center in Manhattan’s Columbus Circle. An immersive theater experience takes guests on a trip through the cosmos to find the source of the news transmissions they hear. It showcases the 24-hour news gathering process of the worldwide CNN network and uses composite imagery to provide a glimpse of the classroom of the future. For the theater at the conclusion of the tour, GoConvergence traveled to Los Angeles, New York, and Atlanta with a side-mounted HD camera to shoot CNN anchors including Wolf Blitzer, Paula Zahn, and Larry King as they discussed their passion for news-gathering and working within the global CNN organization. The entire project was designed and built in-house in 720p high-definition and includes HD, 2D, and 3D animation as well as audio mastered in 5.1 channel Dolby Surround Sound.
