Google wanted to host a first-ever Zeitgeist “thought leadership conference” at their corporate headquarters in Palo Alto, California. The guest list consisted of the Internet’s biggest business leaders as well as Google’s customers, representing $1 billion in advertising revenue. The only room large enough to host the event was Google’s employee cafeteria. Sparks Events engaged GoConvergence to develop a concept that transformed the space into a giant, immersive digital experience, where the walls literally “came alive” with imagery to support the speakers and topics throughout the day. The result: 90% of customers said they planned to increase their spending with Google. The other 10% said they would, but they had already maxed out their budgets with Google.
