Working in partnership with Sparks Exhibits, GoConvergence created and designed all of the interactive experiences within a new 3M Innovation Center in St. Paul, Minnesota. These include “The Spirit of Innovation,” a 3D film projected into a domed theater; an immersive video hallway where “voice of customer” success stories appear on the surrounding walls; an interactive 50” oval touch-table and kiosks featuring both physical and digital demonstrations of more than 20 3M core technologies. The goal was to provide guests with a deeper understanding of 3M's process of innovation through uncommon connections as well as a full appreciation of the company's resources. In its first year, the center hosted over 14,000 visitors and 285 events. The center also won Event Design magazine’s Gold Award in the Best Permanent Installation category. Goconvergence was named in the award in the “Best New or Renovated Center” category at the ABPM.
